CACI is currently looking for a Dev Sec Ops Developer with emphasis on security vulnerability management and agile methodology experience to join our BEAGLE (Border Enforcement Applications for Government Leading-Edge Information Technology) Agile Solution Factory (ASF) Team supporting Customs and Border Protection (CBP) client located in Northern Virginia! Join this passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting the best practices in Agile Software Development for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

More About the Role:

  • Provide technical guidance for directing and monitoring information systems operations.Supporting activities associated with delivery of customer-defined systems, hardware refresh initiatives, and software projects; that encompass:

  • Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments across multiple domains

  • Establish best practices for source control, build, integration, automated test, security scanning, and delivery of applications

  • Work with developers to ensure the end-to-end delivery of solutions

  • Automate development and operations processes to ensure reliability and repeatability

  • Leverage Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code to automate deployments

  • Technical expertise in the infrastructure design, installation, implementation, operation, maintenance and security of Microsoft Windows servers

  • Support Microsoft and Linux systems physical and virtual builds and skills to modify web-related settings via CLI

  • Provide system or application administration for web-based applications and web-based COTS products

  • Experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle database administration tasks

  • Experience with web server configuration (IIS, NGINX, Apache)

  • Resolving application and system software problems

  • Evaluating and recommending hardware/software enhancements as needed including management of system updates and patches

  • Experience with the interpretation and remediation of industry standard security findings and vulnerabilities

  • Troubleshoot configuration and integration issues in development, test and production environments

  • Create of a variety of scripts

  • Knowledge of NIST 800-53 Frameworks / Security Control Implementations

  • Familiarity with DISA STIG implementation

  • Experience with JIRA/Confluence

  • Monitor and optimize system performance

  • Configure security on supported platforms, researching security issues / warning notifications for applicability and implementing patches and fixes

  • Interface with developers and security team members to address scan findings

  • Perform scheduled and allocated work, providing guidance on modernization initiatives, and resolving problems to meet technical performance and financial objectives

  • Maintain existing systems by analyzing, designing, and implementing changes to the system baselines so that baseline changes meet customer requirements. You will also work with upcoming technology refresh projects

  • Contribute to operational and system support documentation in accordance with the program’s configuration management procedures, regularly notifying the team lead when problems or issues arise that are outside the normal scope of work are other activities you will get to support

You Will Bring These Qualifications:

  • Ten (10) or more years of experience in a DevSecOps or related role

  • Experience working on government contracts

  • College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, experience considered in lieu of degree

  • Strong discipline in continuous integration and delivery and technical competency with respective platforms including, Jenkins and Azure DevOps (formally Team Foundation Server), Bamboo, Jenkins, Docker, AWS, Kubernetes, Istio, API Gateway (such as Gloo Edge), nginx, and GitLab

  • Evangelize, own, and execute the idea of “infrastructure as code”

  • Strong technical background, providing system administration support for Windows and Linux Operating systems

  • Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starter and highly proactive

  • Thorough knowledge of server and system administration principles

  • Exposure to certificate management for issuing, renewing, and deploying certificates to endpoints

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment

  • Adaptable and able to work constructively with a technically and geographically diverse team.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Pass CBP background investigation (U.S. Citizenship required).

Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$95,500-$210,100
