What You’ll Get to Do

CACI is looking to add a senior level DevSecOps engineer to work with our team in Ashburn, VA or Colorado Springs, CO. to support multiple portfolios across ITEMSS program. The Sr DevSecOps Engineer will lead the development, standardization, and implementation of CI/CD pipeline across the program. The program emphasizes innovation and looks for individuals who can bring creative ideas to solve complex problems, both technical and procedural.

  • Design, develop, and build an automated CI/CD pipeline to deliver complex software products into a production like CE environment.

  • Continue development and maintenance of the automated software build process using tools such as, but not limited to Azure DevOps, Docker, Podman, SonarQube, Terraform, Chef and other related CI/CD tools.

  • Automate continuous integration, deployment, scaling, and monitoring of applications and services.

  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of code across environments to include the production like CE environment.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and automation.

  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.

  • Continuously improve and optimize infrastructure and automation processes.

  • The ability to be adaptable and to work constructively with a technically diverse team across multiple workstreams is critical.

  • A willingness to learn and stay abreast of industry trends is also required.

  • Strong skillset with Azure DevOps Pipelines

  • Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS: EC2, VPC, Lambda etc..)

  • Experience with CI/CD and application build and deploy (Git, Artifactory, Xray, Jira, SonarCube, Chef, Terraform, Cloudformation)

  • Ability to build code pipelines and support deployment activities.

  • Ability to write scripts in Powershell, Bash, Python, or similar.

  • Provide Tier 3 support as needed.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Strong database administration background, with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience.

  • Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

  • 5+ years of experience with Continuous Integration tools such as the build tools in Azure DevOps or Jenkins include installation and administration, and facilitating developer training

  • 5+ years integrating Automated Tests (Selenium/UFT/Equivalent) into a CI/CD Pipeline;

  • Experience with automated configuration processes and tools such as Ansible or PowerShell

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with at least an interim DOD Secret clearance or higher.

  • Familiar with agile methodologies

  • Understanding of all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management.

  • Experience with Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and other Linux distros. (Automated and manual.)

  • Experience resolving complex problems and providing creative solutions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to convey technical information.

  • Highly responsible, team-oriented individual and self-starter

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • Experience with CyberSecurity scanning tools. (I.e. OpenScap, Evaluate STIGs, etc.

  • A working knowledge of the services provided by a major cloud provider like Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  • Familiarity with the processes needed to get the authority to operate a system in a DoD space

  • A current DoD 8570 certification for an IAT II level position

  • Experience integrating SonarQube (or equivalent) scans into a CI/CD Pipeline;

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$95,500-$210,100
