The Opportunity:

Be part of a great team of professionals on the Data Transport Product Sustainment Logistics Maintenance (DSLM) program. In performing system test activities for all modification and sustainment efforts, you will be indirectly supporting the continued delivery of telemetry, tracking and commanding (TT&C) capabilities to a variety of AFSCN users.

More About this Role: As a member of the System Test & Evaluation (ST&E) Test Execution Team, you will be asked to support the planning, development, execution, and reporting of System Level Lab and Site Tests. This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO and may require occasional travel.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for determining optimal approach to testing complex products or solutions in order to assure compliance with applicable specifications and system requirements. This includes identifying and recommending product or solution characteristics that optimize their ability to be tested or to provide test data for diagnostic purposes

• Combines customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints

• Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems. Coordinates integrated testing activities

• Reviews and evaluates test requirements to ensure completeness of test program. Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations

• Reviews test data for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer

• Leads in demonstrating the effectiveness of test methods

• Participates in Test presentations to the customer and customer reviews

• Prepares test reports

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor of science degree (BS)

• 5+ years of experience in test planning, setup, execution and reporting

• 5+ years of experience conducting tests in a lab or production environment

• 5+ years of experience conducting verification, test, and/or data analysis

• US Citizen with current Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain)

• Experience working in a cross functional environment

• Develops detailed test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition needed to perform the test and minimize risk

• Identifies solutions to complex problems and leads the development of metrology processes, methods, and tools

• Participates in evaluation of test performance data

• Reviews test data for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer

• Prepares test reports for review

• Experience working with skilled engineers and technicians

• Experience establishing strong relationships with government customers, subcontractors, and vendors

Desired:

• Experience using Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Experience using Linux OS

• Experience with VMWare

• Experience with SolarWinds

• Experience with LogRythmn

• Knowledge of working within the DoD or AFSCN domain

• Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, sockets, etc. and experience in network performance testing

• Understanding of OSPF, edge routing and switching theory; Cisco experience a plus

• Analyzing system requirements to develop and evaluate complex test specifications, test results and test trends

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400-$143,700
