CACI is seeking a Chief Engineer for our government program located in Crane, IN.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Develop and execute policy and strategy for a complex DoD programs in support of NAVALX for products and systems.

  • Review and collaborate with CACI site lead to ensure successful technical execution across all programs in the NAVALX portfolio as well as new workload captured to support customer base.

  • Recommend new innovative ideas or approaches for customer’s current requirements as well as conceive solutions to current challenges.

  • Inform CACI’s Strategic Plan for growth by collaborating to develop a cohesive technology strategy aligned with business pursuits to create competitive advantage in the market.

  • Participate in analysis of alternatives, task planning, scope definition, and technical risk management to ensure successful program execution.

  • Generate and support the publication of technical briefs, transition briefs, white papers and proposals.

  • Support Engineering Review Boards, Program Management Reviews, system demonstrations, formal test events and other technical interchange meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Collaborate to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve short-and long-term objectives.

  • Analyze engineering systems, processes, and projects to maximize efficiency and effectiveness with recommendations to CACI site lead to improve team functionality.

  • The Systems Engineering SME should be comfortable working with a diverse set of contractors and customer personnel using strong interpersonal skills to contribute to the assessment, integration, testing and fielding of wide-ranging technologies and advanced concepts. Track, manage, and resolve technical issues. This position will serve as the Technical SME role for technical resources across multiple programs and customers.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Secret Security Clearance

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering or equivalent experience

  • 10 years DoD Engineering Experience

  • Expert level knowledge of DoD intelligence, expeditionary and Electronic Warfare programs

  • Strong customer and user relations skills as well as experience at technical interchange meetings and representing the organization in technical matters

  • Excellent written communication skills, with strong experience developing white papers and technical proposals

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • TS/SCI Security Clearance

  • Masters Degree in Engineering

  • Experience working large, system of systems design and development to include ACAT-level programs

  • Specific knowledge of the ISR addressable market, competitors, technologies, and mission-specific threats

  • Ability and passion to bring vision and innovation to the engineering function.

  • Effective collaboration skills and strategy development with peers and senior leaders.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with senior leadership.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$93,800 - $206,300
