The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for experienced, innovative, and motivated Quality Assurance Engineers to support the mission objectives and needs of the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) in Fayetteville, NC.
The opportunity is contingent upon award of the USSOCOM Enterprise Development, Application and Training (EDAT) contract.
Responsibilities:
Develop and document test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements, functional specifications, and design documents.
Execute manual and automated tests across web, mobile, and desktop applications to identify defects and ensure software quality. Collaborate in the development of automated test frameworks.
Log, track, and manage software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla). Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues.
Perform regression testing after code updates or new releases to ensure stability and functionality of existing features.
Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to evaluate system scalability and response times.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product managers, to understand project objectives and ensure testing covers all use cases.
Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, results, defect reports, and user guides as needed.
Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the testing function.
Ensure that software meets relevant compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO) and perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities.
Qualifications:
Required:
Must hold an active Top Secret clearance and be SCI eligible.
BA/BS + 3 years relevant experience. An AA/AS and 7+ years of experience, or 9+ years of total experience may be acceptable.
Current DoD 8140 – IAT II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+)
Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) for test automation is preferred.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work within a collaborative environment.
Desired:
ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent QA certification
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Prior experience supporting USSOCOM
This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$49,700 - $101,800
