CACI has need to add an experienced Audio Video (A/V) System Engineer to its technical team in Omaha, NE. This position is a highly specialized role using the most up in coming technology unmatched anywhere else in the world. The position will offer training opportunities, long term growth and rewarding mission work. There will be some travel in the continental United States for various projects.
More About the Role:
You'll be working on the implementation of complex engineering solutions for mission critical systems and capabilities, engineering and implementation of C4 systems, operations and maintenance of associated systems and subsystems.
Design, engineering and implementation of technologies and interfaces specifically supporting the operational capability of senior leadership and supporting facilities.
Working withUSSTRATCOM common IT systems and engineeringSWtools (REMEDY, AutoCAD)
Working installations, integration and test activities in support of operation and maintenance of C4 systems.
Computer aided drafting and design (CADD) applications in support of technical services, CM and repository maintenance for overall C4 system/subsystem technical data management.
Read and create detailed schematics and work plans for others
Assessing current architectures for HW/SW limitations
Identifies telecommunications, audio, video system hardware and software technical performance requirements/standards for current and proposed systems
Defines requirements, designs and develops new audio/video distribution systems based on customer requirements
Creates complex system specifications supporting A/V system compatibility specifically for AMX, Crestron, Extron, Barco, Jupiter, Biamp, etc.
Excellent troubleshooting skills, determines the root cause of malfunctions and how to correct them
Analyzes and resolves design compatibility deficiencies.
Conducts independent technical investigations of A/V solutions
Coordinate the procurement of electrical components from commercial and DOD vendors to meet requirements
Working with JITC, APL, TAA, and FAR requirements for componentselection
Writing customer system specific installation and operator maintenance manuals which include detailed drawings, test plans and procedures
Training technical staff and operators in system repairs, operations, procedures and troubleshooting
Leads others but no supervisory responsibilities.
Collaborates with other engineering staff
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
BS/BA in science, technology, engineering, computer science, computer engineering, information systems or equivalent experience, (IT certification and 5 years’ experience in implementing approved technical solutions via engineering change proposal processes)
3+ years A/V system design and implementation experience
Active TS/SCI
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
MS in computer science, computer engineering or information systems
Certified AMX and/or Crestron Programmer
5+ Years A/V system design and implementation experience
Military communications experience in a tactical environment

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$59,700 - $122,200
