The Opportunity:

Directly supporting the CEO, PX is a small team of seasoned program management experts who support and drive outstanding results by CACI’s 400 customer-facing programs. The PX charter is to continually improve CACI program management processes/capabilities, our program managers, and our program execution for the whole of the Corporation. PX is looking to add an experienced, dynamic, and assertive team member with extensive expertise in management of large, ACAT-type programs.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will join the PX team and advise, support, and oversee a growing portfolio of large, ACAT II+ programs throughout their lifecycle, from pre-award to program shutdown. The candidate will confidently leverage past professional experience to help identify and resolve performance issues, drive transparency, escalate challenges and risks, and collaborate on solutions for large, complex programs. The candidate will participate in independent program reviews and in corrective and preventative action planning. The candidate will drive management and execution consistency and help improve tools, data, processes, guidance and support programs in leveraging them to gain maximum value with the least burden.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Served as a Program Manager or Deputy Program Manager on at least one large ($100M+) DoD enterprise program, either as a contractor or Government employee. Preference for experience leading multiple programs with increasing levels of complexity and scope.

  • 10+ minimum years related experience in the federal government contracting space.

  • Led as a Program Executive Office (PEO) or PEO deputy. Served at the enterprise-level in a position responsible for the synchronization of programs across the service staffs and OSD--e.g. Department of the Army Systems Monitor (DASC),

  • Department of the Air Force Program Element Monitor, or similar position--in one or more of CACI’s markets.

  • Proven expertise in management processes of large programs such as Acquisition Category (ACAT) 1/2/3, Major Automated Information System (MAIS), Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP) or similar.

  • Demonstrated performance and management/operational experience in the Defense Acquisition System (DAS), Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS), and Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.

  • Headquarters (Pentagon or other Agency) experience with Senior Government decision-making related to program approval, continuation, funding, etc.

  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills, including assertiveness, ability to influence, active listening, and collaboration with all levels of management including the CEO and Board of Directors.

  • Exemplifies a Continuous Improvement mindset and ability to “think on your feet” in a fast-paced environment.

Desired:

Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus:

• Programs delivering complex hardware-software integration

• Programs with highly cleared staffs and SCIF work

• Programs with overseas staff and international travel

• Earned Value Management

• Subcontractor Management

• Supply Chain

• CMMC

*Active Security Clearance – TS-SCI, is a strong plus.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$131,700 - $289,700
