The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Program Management SME (Technology Programs) to join our team. Our Performance Excellence (PX) SMEs are a small team of seasoned program management experts who support, drive and track outstanding performance by CACI’s 300+ customer-facing program. PX engages with programs throughout their lifetime, from pre-award to program shutdown. We objectively help identify and resolve performance issues – insisting on transparency, escalating bad news, and collaborating on solutions. We conduct independent reviews for large and/or risky programs and participate in corrective and preventative action planning.

Through our active engagement we drive improvements in (1) management and execution consistency by similar programs and (2) tools, data, processes, guidance and help programs leverage them to gain maximum value with the least burden. PX represents the program manager’s perspective as processes, guidance and tools are developed to improve program execution.

A large portion of CACI’s programs include IT Service Management, Software Development, COTS configuration, HW/SW solution development, and manufacturing/production. PX is looking to increase program management expertise regarding these programs so that we can drive the right practices into program teams and support them as they plan, execute and monitor their programs.

Responsibilities:

As a PX team member, you will leverage your extensive background in management and execution of large/complex programs for DoD/DHS and/or other federal agencies to support and oversee large program execution across multiple

points of engagement. You will help to formulate and promote CACI policies and processes, recommend effective best practices, identify impediments, and drive improvements into program teams. Effective communications and interpersonal skills combined with appropriate assertiveness will allow you to have the maximum positive impact. This is your opportunity to share the knowledge and experiences you’ve gained with other PMs to help them avoid pitfalls, identify risks, and plan for the unique requirements of large programs.

Qualifications:

Required:

10+ years managing multiple large ($100M+) federal government programs in the following technology areas:

o IT Service Management (ITSM),

o Software development, especially Agile,

o COTS configuration and implementation, and/or

o HW/SW systems engineering/manufacturing.

Strong communications and interpersonal skills:

o Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with all levels of management

o Assertiveness, ability to influence, and a continuous improvement mindset

o Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

o Ability to easily navigate between strategic and detailed levels

• Experience managing programs that meet industry standards such as CMMI-DEV, CMMI-SVS, ISO 9K, ISO 20K.

• Program management certification—PMP, PgMP or equivalent

• Expertise in Government contracts management, including multiple contract types.

• Program financial management and reporting

• Resource Planning, cost estimation, BOEs

• Scope/requirements management

• SLAs/quantitative performance metrics.

• Schedule management and critical path analysis

Desired:

Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus:

o Programs with overseas staff and international travel

o Programs with highly cleared staffs and SCIF work

o Earned Value Management

o Subcontractor Management

o Supply Chain

o CMMC

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$131,700 - $289,700
